Comics and graphic novels to enrich language learning experiences – Jess Küçükkalyon – llcjpo@leeds.ac.uk 

I’m interested in the ways in which comics and graphic novels can be used to enrich language learning experiences. I am exploring if there is something unique about the combination of text and image that we find in comics and graphic novels, than can be used to facilitate memorable and transformative language learning opportunities. I also aim to explore the extent to which comics and graphic novels can help us foster inclusive and creative learning environments.
